Belginy Molina, B.A

Belginy Molina (she/her/hers) is a dedicated higher education professional and a certified financial coach through The Center for Financial Social Work. She earned her bachelor's degree in Public Policy from UC Riverside. For the past four years, she has served as a Program Coordinator at UCLA Financial Wellness, where she supports program operations, facilitates workshops, and provides one-on-one financial coaching to both undergraduate and graduate students. Belginy frequently collaborates with her colleague Sara, describing their joint presentations as “a breath of fresh air.”

Previously, Belginy worked as a Case Manager and Financial Coach within the FamilySource Center network, delivering comprehensive support services to low-income individuals and families. She is deeply passionate about empowering and educating those who may not have had open conversations about money growing up or who had households where financial matters caused stress or conflict.

Her mission is to promote financial literacy among diverse communities, including Spanish-speaking populations, first-generation individuals, students from middle school through college, and women-focused groups. She also enjoys supporting new parents and student parents on their financial journeys.

Belginy’s favorite financial topics are: Budgeting, Consumer Credit, Loans, Savings, Basic Investing, Relationship to Money.
